I have just uploaded a small bugfix for the new meinKOPPPro…
ToDo!s are now added correct to iCal and because it is was requested - I added two new features:

· you can now create 'all day events' for iCal
· you can hide the lines in the text views

All owners can update via the app itself…

meinKOPPPro is the advanced version of the well known meinKOPP.
I always try to hear to my customers and you had a lot of requests and wishes to make meinKOPP a better application. As I started over three years ago with the first (and very crappy) version of meinKOPP my Cocoa skills have been - well, to be honest - I had no skills…

So to make meinKOPP better I had to write a complete new application and to change almost everything because many of you asked for an iPhone application. I am working on a “phoneKOPP” and meinKOPPPro will be able to sync with that iPhone app…

This new application now supports iCal integration, Drag&Drop, exporting and restoring of your complete database, is also available as a portable application (that can run from any thumbdrive, in your network etc. - so you can always have your digital head with you) and you can export all your content as .rtfd files or simply drag them into any other application. As requested you can now also store complete .pdf files…

One word to meinKOPP and meinKOPPPro:

No, they are not compatible - not to punish you and not to fleece you. It is very simple. I could not built a seminal new application with the old and crappy code from the old meinKOPP application. An application that can work together with iCal or an application for the iPhone. No chance. SORRY!

meinKOPPPro will be soon available in German, Spanish, French, Korean and Japanese

I wrote Schreibchen because one owner of Schreiben asked me if there is a ‘simple’ version of Schreiben available that his disabled sister could also use. In fact she needed a version with bigger and less buttons and this buttons should be easier to reach and to hit and the GUI should be also simplified.
So I hope I could build an application that can be used from more ‘disabled’ persons, children and other peoples that could not use (or like) other word-processors / text-editors…
To make Schreibchen a better peace of software for that purpose I need your feedback!
So feel free to write us your feedback and wishes and you can also ask for customized versions that can fit your needs (as a school or association). We can also build versions in your language if needed…
With Schreibchen you can also open and write the new .docx format and documents for use with OpenOffice and if needed export your files into a .doc file with images…
You can also use a FulllscreenView and the Snippets can be dropped into a document by just dragging them out of the ‘Snippets Window’ and you can higlight text if needed…
Please notice that Schreibchen[demo] can be used without any time restrictions but it supports only one file format. With the full version you can open and write a lot more.
You can install the full version on any private Mac you own and for schools and associations you can request a volume-license…

Tonight, while working on a custom application for a client I had an idea. I have a lot of great users of my small apps and many asked for localized versions - but most of them don't know how to use the Interface Builder or something about .plist files with UTF-8 encoding et cetera…

So - today I wrote a small tool calles babL which every one with a Mac can use to help to make localized versions of my apps and of all other apps of all the other great software developers with their great apps out there…

The idea is to publish those files (with translated words, phrases and strings) for all other developers, so they can localize their apps…

And everyone who wants to help can have the babL source or send his files to me, so I can publish them…

Please download Schnippselchen Pro 1.1 - I have fixed the bug. You can now remove the selected category without killing the wrong…

This new application is build on Schnippselchen - but with some improvements. Improvments that would not work with the data from the old Schnippselchen - so I decided to make a new app…

Now you can rearrange Snippets, duplicate them and the major improvement is,
that you can simply drag the snippets out of Schnippselchen to Xcode, TextMate, Smultron or which app ever you are using and the snippets content will automatically pasted. You can now also backup and restore all your snippets to one single file…

Notice:
Schnippselchen Pro is a portable application.
That means that you can run it from any thumb-drive, NAS et cetera - so you can always have your snippets with you. But that also means, that you can’t delete the app itself without loosing all your data. So it helps to lock it and for updating and migration please backup and restore your data via the menu…

I am sorry that I had to build a new application and that you have to paste your old content, but I think it is worth it and I hope, you will enjoy Schnippselchen Pro.

Here it is, the new version of our application for all webworkers, creatives and suppliers at arm's lenght.
Completely new written. All in (one) window, new features and one goal: to make it as simple to use as possible.
And because many of you asked me to do that - you can now access the Address Book and reorder und duplicate entries…
